Position Title: Project Manager III
Position Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Onsite)
Provide locations: Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Birmingham, AL, Dallas, TX and Phoenix, AZ

Days of the week: M-F
Working Hours: 8a-5p EST (Flexible)
OT: Not on a regular basis, but possible

**This position is contract with the right to hire if a need becomes available. Managers will only look at candidates that are open to converting to a full time employee. Client will not sponsor work visas if the decision is made to hire the contingent worker.
Function of the Group: Create business cases for new capital initiatives for technology teams, budgeting and budget execution
Initiatives/Projects: budgeting and budget execution, Building products and tracking
Industry background: Financial Background, Finance calculations and spreadsheets
Team Dynamic: Team of 3 on Initiatives team- Works with Budgets and Contracts team Working with other teams throughout client. (sourcing, finance, technology, etc.).
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Initiative Planning & Business Case Development
• Create and refine business cases for new capital initiatives.
• Analyze technology requests, develop cost estimates, and assess financial impacts.
• Ensure alignment with organizational strategy and capital planning guidelines.
2. Budget Planning & Execution
• Lead the annual budget planning process for technology initiatives.
• Track actuals vs. budget throughout the year, identifying variances and risks.
• Ensure project costs follow internal controls and financial guidelines.
3. Project & Portfolio Tracking
• Track initiative progress across the portfolio, including milestones, spend, and forecasts.
• Manage and update initiative packages, ensuring all components are complete for approval.
• Support technology managers by championing initiative progress through internal processes.
4. Agile Execution & Cross‑Team Coordination
• Operate in an Agile environment, shifting responsibilities based on project needs.
• Participate in and lead weekly meetings to coordinate stakeholders and ensure momentum.
• Facilitate communication between business, finance, tech leads, sourcing, and contracts.
5. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
• Serve as liaison between technology teams and supporting functions (finance, sourcing, etc.).
• Communicate status updates, risks, and blockers to leadership and project managers.
• Support documentation, reporting, and executive-ready updates as needed
