Job Description:
• The Quality Support Specialist assists the quality organization by performing documentation reviews, coordinating quality activities, supporting inspections, managing data, and ensuring compliance with internal standards and customer/regulatory requirements.
• This role helps maintain product and process quality through administrative, analytical, and coordination support.
• Support the Quality organization by reviewing and maintaining quality documentation to ensure compliance with internal procedures, customer requirements, and aerospace industry standards.
• Perform reviews of inspection reports, Certificates of Conformance (CoCs), First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation, test reports, and manufacturing records for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate quality activities across Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer Quality teams.
• Assist with incoming, in-process, and final inspections by preparing documentation and supporting quality personnel as needed.
• Maintain quality records, databases, and documentation within the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure traceability and compliance.
• Support nonconformance (NCR), corrective and preventive action (CAPA), and root cause investigation processes.
• Assist with internal, customer, and regulatory audits by preparing documentation and coordinating audit activities.
• Monitor and report quality metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives and operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements, including AS9100 requirements.
• Provide administrative and analytical support to maintain product quality, process effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.
