Linux Engineer

Position Title: Sr Linux Engineer

Position Location: Pittsburgh PA, Cleveland OH, Birmingham AL, Dallas, TX , Phoenix, AZ

Ability to work remote: Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 remotely

Duration: 12 Months Contract to Hire

On W2

Function of the Group: Mitigating risk

Initiatives/Projects: Security team using security tools, managing risk

Industry background: Open to all backgrounds

Team Dynamic:

• 3 other team members
• C4 level engineers
• 1 Contractor in India

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Managing the health of a Linux based security system
• Being the lead infrastructure specialist
• Understanding servers, networks, how the consumers interact from a user perspective

Must Have Technical Skills:

• Infrastructure engineer
• Linux/Unix
• Server and Networking Fundamentals

Flex Skills/Nice to Have:

• Tokenization (newer and niche skill set, so having this is definitely a plus but understandable if candidate does not possess)
• Protegrity tokenization experience
• Big Data systems, such as Hadoop/Cloudera/Teradata

Education/Certifications:

Experience in lieu of education, but Bachelors degree is nice to have

Interview Process:

1 Round: 2-3 person panel with HM - 30 Min
