Position Title: Sr Informatica Developer

Position Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Ability to work remote: No- Fully in office.

Acceptable time zone(s): EST

Days of the week: Monday - Friday

Working Hours: Flexible 8-9am Start

Intended length of Assignment: Through 9/30/2026

Contract to Hire, W2

Function of the Group: Regulatory Reporting

Industry background: Banking or financial background is a plus.

Team Dynamic: Agile crew of about 7-8 people working in 2 week sprints.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance.
• Design and develop software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
• Consult with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements and resolve customer problems.
• Advise customer about, or perform, maintenance of software system.

Must Have Technical Skills:

• Core Informatica Skills
• Informatica PowerCenter (Development & Debugging): Mappings, Mapplets, Sessions, and Workflow & Reusable transformations and parameterized workflows
• Strong understanding of ETL concepts (Extract, Transform, Load)
• Experience with source to target mappings
• Knowledge of Informatica Repository and metadata management
• Basic performance tuning (partitioning awareness, caching, pushdown concepts) Databases & SQL
• Strong working knowledge of SQL: Joins, subqueries, aggregations Data validation and reconciliation queries
• Experience with relational databases such as: Oracle Teradata

Education/Certifications: bachelors required

Interview Process: 2-3 rounds. 1 - initial screening with hiring manager. 2 - technical interview with team leads. 3 - only if necessary.
