Title: Sr. Validation Technician
Location: Tewksbury, MA
Duration: 12 Months
Pay: $27–$35/hr
Job Summary: Support calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of electronic radiation monitoring/dosimetry equipment in an NVLAP-accredited lab environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform calibration verification and functional testing of electronic dosimeters
- Troubleshoot and assist with minor equipment repairs
- Maintain calibration records and service documentation
- Follow NVLAP/quality procedures and radiation safety standards
- Support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement activities
- Ensure equipment meets operational and customer requirements
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, Physics, or related field preferred
- 1 year experience with electronic test equipment, instrumentation, or calibration environments
- Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills
- Basic MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
- Ability to follow technical procedures and work independently/team environment
Preferred:
- ISO/IEC 17025 or NVLAP lab experience
- Knowledge of radiation detection/dosimetry equipment
- Calibration and electronic diagnostic experience
