Title: Sr. Building Maintenance Technician
Location: San Francisco, CA 94107
Duration: 3 Months
Shift: M–F, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $35/hr
Summary:
- Responsible for maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of production equipment and building systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Requires strong electrical, mechanical, and HVAC expertise with ability to work independently and in teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot production machinery (electrical & mechanical)
- Perform instrumentation, calibration, and system diagnostics
- Work with HVAC, PLCs, AC/DC drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, and gas systems
- Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with environmental policies
- Participate in problem-solving initiatives and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED (Associate degree preferred)
- 5 years electrical/electronic troubleshooting in manufacturing
- 3 years maintenance experience (1500 hours hands-on)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, industrial systems, and gas-fired equipment
- Basic PLC, machining, welding skills
- Proficient with Windows-based systems
- Ability to read technical documents and handle customer inquiries
Work Conditions:
- Exposure to mechanical parts, heights, chemicals, and high-noise environments; must follow all safety (OHS) policies.
