Job: Associate Project Manager

Location: Eugene, OR 97402

Duration: 12 months - Contract

Pay Rate: $32.00/hr on W2

Job Summary:

• Willing to take someone just out of college with the right life science background (must be highlighted on resume to replace work experience)
• B.S. or B.A. in Biology/Chemistry or other life sciences program
• 2 years of experience in a Customer-Facing role within the life sciences industry.
• Must be familiar with standard and metric weight and volume units
• Successful candidate will have strong skills in the following areas: written and verbal communications, interpersonal cross functional team based interaction, organizational and detail orientation, analytical, planning, and problem solving.
• Should also be intellectually curious and results oriented.

Job Responsibilities:

• Customers will be ordering in units ( milligrams, vials, kilograms, etc.) - Will need to match up packaging configurations and fill volumes
• Support the PMO/Customs (Project Management Organization and Customs) team by drafting custom project quotes, updating the project tracking system, coordinating invoicing, providing customer and commercial project updates.
• Have a working knowledge of standard biological technologies and units of measure; buffer formulation, cell biology, chemistry.
• Good with Excel, data management, manipulation and reporting
• Comfortable working in various database systems
• Ability to focus, not easily distracted
• Comfortable with change and shifting priorities
