What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time or Full-Time Head Pro position at Indoor Golf RVA?
Overview
Indoor Golf RVA is seeking a Head Golf Professional to provide exceptional instruction and service to our members and the public. This opportunity is ideal for any golf pro who wants to:
- Build their own teaching business. Set your own schedule, determine your lesson/fitting rates, and market yourself as you’d like. We’ll help by providing access to our growing membership and promoting your services through our marketing channels.
- Support your current client base. Bring your own clients to an indoor facility for TrackMan access, weather-proofing, or times when your primary facility is closed with our 24/7 access.
- Create additional income. Teach as many - or as few - lessons as fits your schedule while maintaining a full-time position elsewhere.
Looking for something bigger? We're also open to creating a customized partnership for the right candidate, including a path to full-time salaried employment and even equity ownership in Indoor Golf RVA.
Our previous head pro averaged 30 hours per month of lessons. This was a combination of teaching our existing members, and marketing his services to the public through social media channels and the PGA of America website. There is an opportunity to teach more or less depending on your preference.
We understand that many applicants may currently be employed. All applications will be kept strictly confidential. Please provide a personal email address and phone number that will not notify or disrupt your current employer.

Additional responsibilities may be available for candidates seeking full-time employment, including operations, facility maintenance, programming, events, marketing, and business development.
