General Manager Nitro Action Adventure Park

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager to lead and oversee the operations of Nitro Action Adventure Park. We are in the Fun Business! In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe, and profitable running of the park while delivering exceptional guest experiences. Your leadership will inspire staff, manage daily operations, and drive strategic initiatives to maintain our reputation as a premier adventure destination. Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of park operations, including safety protocols, guest services, and staff management to ensure an outstanding visitor experience.
• Oversee staff supervision, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management to foster a motivated and efficient team.
• Manage operational activities such as shift management, cash handling, budgeting, and resource allocation to optimize profitability and efficiency.
• Coordinate events management and special programs to enhance guest engagement and park visibility.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations by implementing first aid and CPR procedures, conducting safety audits, and ensuring operational standards are met.
• Develop reports on park performance, incidents, and customer feedback; utilize report writing skills to inform strategic decisions.
• Foster excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors.
• Implement technical proficiency in managing park systems, point-of-sale operations, and other digital tools using Microsoft Office for documentation and communication purposes.
• Drive business by developing community relationships with Schools, religious groups, business partnerships, and marketing.
• Social Media experience is essential for staying connected with the community.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience with strong leadership skills in supervising teams within a restaurant service industry, event venue, or amusement park setting.
• Extensive experience in operations management, including shift management, budget oversight, and staff supervision.
• Demonstrated ability in event management with a focus on guest services and hospitality excellence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for report writing and operational documentation.
• Excellent managerial communication skills to coordinate across departments effectively.
• Experience in managing cash handling procedures and operational logistics within a high-volume environment.
• Knowledge of health & safety standards, including first aid and CPR certification, is preferred.
• Previous resort, restaurant, or adventure park experience is highly desirable; assistant manager experience will be considered an asset.
• Experience in developing community relationships with Schools, religious groups, business partnerships, and other networking or marketing knowledge.
• Social Media experience and ability to create content and stay connected with the community.
