Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents.
- Handle custodial tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, and floor care including buffing and floor polishing.
- Operate heavy-duty cleaning machinery such as floor buffers and industrial cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Follow strict safety protocols when handling chemical agents, ensuring proper storage, usage, and disposal in accordance with safety procedures.
- Conduct routine sanitation procedures to maintain hygiene standards across all facilities.
- Assist with light maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and general facilities upkeep as needed.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines related to manual handling, heavy lifting, and equipment operation to prevent injuries and ensure a safe working environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of custodial practices.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, mops, and chemical dispensing systems.
- Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation standards in commercial settings.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and proper lifting techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with clients or building occupants when necessary.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently while maintaining high-quality cleaning standards.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
