Position Overview
Indoe Painting & Construction is seeking a skilled and dependable Residential Carpenter to join our growing team. We specialize in residential remodeling, renovations, repairs, and property improvements throughout the Greater Cleveland area. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, works efficiently, and is committed to delivering professional results on every project.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in all phases of residential carpentry and be comfortable working independently or as part of a crew.
Responsibilities
- Wood framing for remodels, additions, and repairs
- Install wall, roof, and floor sheathing
- Hang and install interior and exterior doors
- Install baseboard, casing, crown molding, and other finish trim
- Install kitchen and bathroom cabinets
- Complete punch-list and finish carpentry work
- Read and interpret blueprints and project plans
- Measure, cut, and install materials accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Communicate professionally with project managers, homeowners, and fellow crew members
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of residential carpentry experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of framing, finish carpentry, and cabinet installation
- Ability to operate common hand tools and power tools safely
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail
