Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders or retail purchases in a friendly, professional manner
- Operate POS systems (TOAST) POS and Micros POS to process food service orders and retail transactions accurately
- Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments, and give correct change efficiently
- Support food preparation tasks when needed, including basic food handling and kitchen equipment operation
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation standards, bussing tables, and organizing the front of house area
- Upsell menu items or retail products to enhance sales opportunities and improve customer satisfaction
- Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Familiarity with POS systems such Toast or other POS or Micros POS; experience with cashiering is a plus
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations
- Ability to stand for extended periods, multitask efficiently, and work effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience operating kitchen equipment or working in a restaurant or café environment is advantageous
- Reliable time management skills to ensure smooth workflow during busy periods
