Store Manager
• Goals
o Responsible for a positive customer service experience.
o Ensure all associates comply with company policies.
o Ensure team members are engaged, motivated and productive.
o Maintain daily operation of the store.
o Maintain merchandising, general appearance and cleanliness of store.
• Specific duties relating to goals.
o Monitor interactions between customers and employees to find areas for acceleration and development.
Implement action plans to teach and reinforce or correct behavior.
o Maintain appropriate scheduling basing labor hours on business needs.
o Cover hours when store is shorthanded.
Responsible for ensuring employees are at work when needed or that hours are covered appropriately.
o Cross all departments to check that tasks are being done; employees have clear jobs for the shift.
o Handle customer concerns and errors at registers/POS.
o Communicate regularly with other managers and supervisors to ensure employees are productive.
o Work with all employees to create an optimal shopping experience.
o Perform employee evaluations regularly or when needed. Communicate needs and evaluations with personnel manager and GM.

o Assist customers to build sales.
