Position: Lead Supervisor
Position Summary
The Lead Supervisor is responsible for driving store sales, maximizing profitability, and leading a team dedicated to providing an outstanding customer experience. This role involves managing all aspects of store operations, from merchandising and inventory control to staff development and financial oversight, while consistently upholding Ace's core values.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Staff Development:
• Lead, train, and develop a high-performing store team, providing ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
• Manage staff scheduling and payroll to meet customer demand while adhering to budget.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations to foster professional growth and recognize achievements.
Sales & Merchandising:
• Drive store sales and profitability by managing expenses and implementing effective in-store marketing and promotions.
• Ensure the store meets all merchandising and visual presentation standards in accordance with company guidelines.
• Collaborate with vendors to optimize product placement and merchandising strategies.
Customer Experience:
• Champion Ace's customer-first culture, leading by example to ensure every customer receives exceptional service.
• Utilize customer feedback and mystery shopper reports to identify opportunities for service improvement.
• Actively coach associates on the sales floor to engage customers and meet their needs effectively.
Operations & Inventory:
• Oversee all store operations, including inventory control, receiving, and shrinkage reduction, to maintain stock accuracy.
• Enforce all safety and operational policies to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained store environment.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of retail leadership experience.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and delegation abilities.
• Proficiency with retail computer systems and software.
• Bilingual in Spanish (verbal and written) is strongly preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, and lift up to 40 lbs.
