What are the responsibilities and job description for the Greenhouse Specialist position at Individually Owned and Operated Ace Hardware Store?
Primary Tasks:
•General knowledge of annuals, perennials and nursery stock
•Merchandising and set up of greenhouse and nursery yard
•Load and unload green goods and related items
•Customer service and sales
•Plant care and maintenance
•Greenhouse and nursery yard maintenance
•Seasonal setup and take down
•Must work well with co-workers
•Must be able to work weekends and evenings
The job includes all of the above but is not limited to the above.
We are looking for someone who is good with plants and who is very knowledgeable about each species. We need someone who is passionate about helping customers, and that loves to be outside. We aim as a company to have high customer satisfaction.
