What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier position at Individually Owned and Operated Ace Hardware Store?
Looking for candidate to start prior to June 1st
Position Requirements for Hire:
-Age 16 and above
-Available to work 24-32 hours a week (minimum of one weekend day required, both weekend days preferred). Potential for more than 32 hours April-September.
-Reliability
-Professional attitude
-Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours a day
-Scheduling flexibility when needed
-Ability to lift 25-50lbs multiple times as needed to support customers
Expected Responsibilities/Requirements:
-Provide customer service to customers (ie. directing customers to items, cashing out customers, daily chores)
-Stocking shelves as needed
-Cleaning and daily chores throughout the store
-Helping customers with carry out items (this may include items over 50lbs.)
-Ability to count money and make change
Pay:
Starting at $15/hr. Pay is negotiable depending on previous experience in the areas listed above. Health insurance packages available to employees working over 30 hours per week after 90 days.
