We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and respectful female caregiver to assist [a sweet elderly woman / my mother / a female family member] in her home located in Everett, WA. Cultural alignment and clear communication are highly important to our family, so fluency in Arabic is a strict requirement for this role. Responsibilities may include:

• Companionship: Engaging in conversation, reading, or light activities.
• Daily Living Assistance: Helping with [mobility, transfers, dressing, or personal hygiene].
• Meal Preparation: Preparing healthy meals [Optional: with an understanding of halal/Middle Eastern dietary preferences].
• Light Housekeeping: Keeping the main living areas tidy and managing light laundry.
• Medication Reminders: Ensuring medications are taken on schedule.

Experience

• Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism, or intellectual disabilities support experience is advantageous.
• Proven skills in patient observation, patient monitoring, medication administration, first aid certification (CPR included), and manual handling techniques such as heavy lifting or the use of Hoyer lifts.
• Familiarity with creating and following care plans while adhering to HIPAA privacy standards is essential.
• Strong communication skills combined with a compassionate approach are key to building trusting relationships with residents and team members alike.
• Bilingual speaking language, Arabic, and a female individual.
