Picker and Packer Warehouse Associate

Full-time position

Overtime when required (weekends and extended hours)

JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Associate Picker and Packer position is a key member of the IndiMade Brands, LLC Team. As a Warehouse Associate, you help maintain customer relationships through accurate processing and fulfillment of customer orders. The successful candidate maintains positive relationships through service, problem resolution, product knowledge, and participating in a positive work place environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Accurately pick customer orders and perform visual inspection of products to ensure they are not damaged, defective or out of specification.
• Accurately pack merchandise in a manner that ensures in-transit preservation of goods
• Efficiently and precisely repackage and sort products to fill customer orders
• Meet daily productivity goals while maintaining quality work and minimal errors
• General daily housekeeping including sweeping floors, clean and organize work station and ensures safe work areas.
• Perform tasks in warehouse effectively after cross training (includes rotating to different tasks to meet business needs)
• Ability to work overtime and weekends
• Ability to work extended hours as needed
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Six months experience in pick and pack warehouse
• Demonstrate high attention to detail
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• High degree of accuracy and great sense of urgency while meeting standards
• Possess efficient organizational skills
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently
• Ability to problem solve
• Capacity to work well in an diverse team environment while maintaining a professional, friendly, and respectful demeanor with customers and coworkers
• Ability to quickly become proficient with company proprietary hardware and software systems
• Ability to read and understand customer invoices required
• Ability to perform simple math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Ability to work overtime and weekends

EDUCATION

• High school education or equivalent required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Walking and standing for long periods of time is required.
• Must be able to bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular and continuous basis.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Requires climbing/stooping/kneeling, standing/walking, lifting/pulling/pushing, fingering/grasping/feeling, writing, sitting, bending, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity.
• Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
• Must be able to push/pull carts and equipment weighing up to 500 pounds frequently.
• Requires full range of body motion.
• Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
• Must be tolerant of strong fragrances and odors.
