Pre-Sales Service Architect, Subsea & Terrestrial Networks
Location: United States (ideally near Denver yet flexible)
We are seeking a high-calibre Pre-Sales Service Architect to strengthen our capability across Subsea cable systems and terrestrial network opportunities. This is a critical role to absorb increasing RFP demand, shape winning solutions, and support strategic growth in complex global connectivity projects
You will operate at the intersection of commercial, technical, and customer engagement, designing robust, scalable services that differentiate our proposition and win business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead solution design for Subsea and terrestrial network opportunities, with a strong focus on RFP responses
- Translate customer requirements into commercially viable, technically sound service architectures.
- Own the end-to-end pre-sales lifecycle, from qualification through to submission and handover.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations (including Denver NOC) Develop innovative, cost-effective network solutions aligned to customer needs and market trends
- Support bid strategy, pricing inputs, and value articulation to maximise win probability.
- Maintain awareness of industry developments in subsea infrastructure and global connectivity
About You
- Proven experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Service Architect within telecoms or global networking
- Strong knowledge of subsea cable systems, international connectivity, and terrestrial backhaul networks
- Demonstrated success in RFP/RFI responses and complex bid environments
- Ability to bridge commercial and technical discussions with credibility at senior stakeholder level
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment
