Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join our growing, client-centered
practice. This role is ideal for an attorney who brings both strong legal skill and emotional
intelligence to their work — someone who understands that family law is about people, not just
cases.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in family law, with additional
experience in estate law and probate considered a strong plus.
What You’ll Do
Represent clients in a wide range of family law matters, including:
o Divorce and legal separation
o Child custody, support, and visitation
o Alimony and property division
o Prenuptial and postnuptial agreements
o Adoption and stepparent adoption
o Modifications, enforcement actions, and paternity matters
Provide clear, compassionate guidance during consultations and throughout
representation.
Develop and execute thoughtful legal strategies tailored to each client’s goals and family
dynamics.
Advocate for clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
Collaborate with team members to deliver consistent, high-quality client service.
Bonus: Assist with or handle matters involving estate planning, estate administration, and
probate when applicable.
Who You Are
A South Carolina-licensed attorney in good standing.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience practicing family law.
Experience in estate law and/or probate is a strong plus, but not required.
A confident, empathetic communicator who can explain complex legal issues in plain
language.
Highly organized, responsive, and detail-oriented.
