Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive first impression
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, accurately, and with a friendly attitude during banquets and events
• Clear tables promptly and maintain cleanliness of service areas to uphold high standards of food handling and safety
• Assist with setup and breakdown of banquet spaces, including arranging tables, linens, and dining accessories
• Support catering operations by bussing tables, refilling beverages, and ensuring guest needs are met promptly
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and address any special dietary requests or guest concerns
• Uphold food safety standards by following proper handling procedures during service and cleanup

Skills

• Previous experience in the food industry or banquet service is highly preferred; culinary or restaurant experience is a plus
• Strong guest services skills with the ability to build positive guest relations in fast-paced environments
• Knowledge of hospitality best practices, including food handling, serving techniques, and food safety regulations
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with team members and interact professionally with guests
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail during busy events
• Experience in catering or hotel settings enhances your ability to adapt quickly to various event types
