Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair
- Engage with guests warmly, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations
- Operate POS systems such as Toast POS to process transactions efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in all food handling and preparation areas
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and basic math calculations
- Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring timely delivery of quality products
- Uphold food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times to ensure guest safety
Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or Bartender with strong coffee-making skills and beverage knowledge
- Willingness to participate in and even make social media content showcasing the cafe and the brand
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling and sales reconciliation
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation, and serving techniques in a café or food industry setting. Food handlers permit REQUIRED
- Effective communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with team members and guests
