Indianhead Medical Center (IMC) is a 25-bed critical access facility that has been providing quality care to the surrounding communities for over 70 years. Services include inpatient, outpatient, clinical, surgical, rehabilitation with extensive inpatient and outpatient therapies, and emergency care. We are currently seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide services as needed to IMC.

Job Summary:

The Registered Dietitian will provide dietetic services to in-patients, clinic consultations and will assist the dietary manager with approving menus.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Collaborates with the dietary manager to approve menus for staff and patients with a variety of dietary restrictions (this can be done remotely or in-office)

· Will take referrals from primary care providers for patients needing in-person clinic consultations (typically ranging between 2-4 patients a month allowing the RD to plan approximately 4 office hours a month)

· Performs other related duties as requested by the dietary manager

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Good verbal and written communication skills.

· Working knowledge of food service and nutritional guidelines and best practices.

· Proficiency with various HER computer systems

Education and Experience:

· Current State of WI licensure as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
