Indianhead Medical Center (IMC) is a 25-bed critical access facility that has been providing quality care to the surrounding communities for over 70 years. Services include inpatient, outpatient, clinical, surgical, rehabilitation with extensive inpatient and outpatient therapies, and emergency care. We are currently seeking a full-time Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join the IMC family.

As a MLT with IMC, you would work alongside clinic, hospital and ER colleagues to bring excellent care to patients of all ages. In this position, you would be responsible for patient lab draws in a variety of possible settings and then analyzing the sample by performing chemical, hematology, coagulation, and urinalysis. Additional tasks include processing reference labs for sending out. This position requires a high degree of accuracy and excellent communication and teamwork skills. This position would be expected to take rotating call of 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month. This position comes with some flexibility and we can accommodate weekly hours between 30-40 per week! We offer a $2.00 per hour shift differential for any night hours worked!

A MLT at IMC must:

· Hold at minimum an Associate’s degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology with MLT (ASCP) certification

· Have current and valid WI driver’s license, have reliable transportation and cell phone

· Be BLS/CPR Certified (or complete within the first 6 months of hire)

· Provide professional and compassionate patient care

· Have a strong work ethic with a dependable and trustworthy nature

· Participates in continuing education within the profession
