Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Coach to join our team. As a Coach, you will be responsible for providing guidance, support, and training to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or addiction issues. Your role will involve assisting individuals in achieving their personal goals and enhancing their overall well-being.
Duties:
Develop and implement individualized coaching plans based on the specific needs and goals of each client
- Provide support and guidance to individuals in areas such as employment, education, social skills, and personal development
- Conduct assessments to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement
- Assist individuals in developing essential life skills, including communication, problem-solving, and decision-making
- Provide training and support to educate clients on various topics related to their personal job growth and development
- Collaborate with employers to promote workforce development opportunities for individuals with disabilities or addiction issues
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and provide regular reports to supervisors
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is highly desirable
-- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with clients and employers from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to interview and make assessments to gather relevant information
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in training development and delivery techniques
- Familiarity with workforce development programs and resources
