Job Description
- Teacher will be responsible for teaching Social Studies to 5th grade students
- Demonstrate a high level of effectiveness
- Use a variety of instructional methods and materials
- Possess a growth mindset
- Maintain control that is conducive to safety in the classroom
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Valid IN teaching license.
- Upon offer, applicant must complete and clear drug screen and expanded criminal history background check for school personnel as required by IN state law.
- Applicants must possess a knowledge of best practices in Social Studies instruction
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students of all abilities
- Strong communication skills in order to successfully interact with students, staff and parents
- Knowledge of technology needed for a successful Social Studies classroom
