Indy West Christian School is seeking a caring, dependable and mature Christian individual to serve as a Daycare Paraprofessional. Professional Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to work well with children and adults in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Prior childcare or classroom experience preferred.
Spiritual & Personal Requirements:
- A personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Active member of an evangelical church.
- Commitment to the school's Statement of Faith and Lifestyle Statement.
- Demonstrates integrity, confidentiality, and a positive attitude.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and interact with students in daycare and classroom settings.
- Assist teachers with learning tasks and classroom management.
- Provide coverage for lunch, recess, and before/aftercare programs.
- Maintain a positive, Christ-centered environment for students and staff.
- Communicate effectively with teachers and administrators.
- Be available during daycare hours (7:30 AM – 4:30 PM).
- Willingness to obtain a substitute certificate and serve as needed.
