Duties And Responsibilities
- Attend and lead all required class sessions
- Promptly assess student coursework and submit via Brightspace (the university’s learning management system)
- Coordinate with Division Chair and/or Academic Dean regarding classroom or student issues in a timely manner
Education
- Master’s degree in music preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Demonstrated talent and accomplishment in relevant playing and/or teaching.
- Teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, organization skills to facilitate management of student work.
- Ability to communicate with and teach students at all levels of musicianship.
