IU Health is deepening its commitment to northeast Indiana through the construction of a new full-service hospital in Fort Wayne. This new 140 bed hospital will employ 600 team members and 60 providers delivering exceptional patient care across specialties.
This will be a fully onsite role Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM with availability to round on evenings and weekends once the hospital is fully operational. Ideal candidates will have experience expanding, building, or growing a care program. This role will have the opportunity to influence how respiratory care is run at our Fort Wayne location. The selected candidate will have a target start date of March 2026.
Assist in the planning, directing and overall operation of quality Respiratory Care Services and to maintain responsibility and accountability. Through direct clinical leadership, ongoing outcome analysis and program development, is responsible for quality patient outcomes, high customer satisfaction, and efficient, productive use of personnel, material and financial resources. Serves as a liaison between various departments and leadership and collaborates to ensure quality process and policies are in place. Responsible for system-wide respiratory service integration and interdisciplinary collaboration within the Indiana University Health System.
