Overview
Onsite at Bloomington Hospital. Night shift for Fri, Sat, and Sun from 7p-7a, 36hrs a week.
Come join our Team! Bloomington is looking for a dynamic individual to join our System Patient Access Registration team. This entry-level role serves as the first point of contact for our patients and is critical in ensuring a positive experience from the moment people walk through the door. To be successful in this position, you must be detail-oriented, patient focused, dependable and consistent in your attendance and timeliness. Required 2-week Cerner training 8a-4:30p. Registration experience is preferred but not required for the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Ensure timely and accurate patient registration
- Maintain patient records and confidentiality
- Provide information and answer patient inquiries
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth operations
At least one year of experience in hospital or physician Revenue Cycle strongly preferred.
- Requires working knowledge of patient registration and financial clearance.
- Requires a high level of interpersonal and problem solving skills.
- Requires effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Requires the ability to work within a team and maintain collaborative relationships.
- Requires the ability to take initiative and meet objectives.
