ACCESSIBLE EDUCATIONAL SERVICE (BL-DABL-IUBLA)

Proctors provide a variety of services and support for students and staff in the Accessible Educational Services (AES) at IU Bloomington. In addition to overseeing exams and ensuring academic integrity, proctors have the potential to engage in outreach, clerical work, and may potentially act as a sighted assistant.

Department-Specific Responsibilities
- Ensures the accessibility and academic integrity of AES-administrated exams through locker checks, station inspection and maintenance, and accurate logging of important exam details.
- Invites students and campus partners to learn more about AES through events, multimedia projects, and communications.
- Assists with answering phone calls, scanning and filing documents, answering emails, and scheduling appointments.
- Sighted assistant work (when available) provides various accessibility services to students with vision impairments.
- Delivers materials to other campus offices.
- Other duties as assigned.
