ROLE OVERVIEW:

The primary function of this role is to provide a welcoming and professional environment for our patient and guests for their first impression of Indiana Spine Hospital.

PREREQUISITE EXPERIENCE:

Graduation from High School or GED equivalent with at least one year in a hospitality or customer service-related position. Previous work experience in a physician office or medical related position preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The following list describes the essential duties of this role. Individuals in this role may not perform all of these duties, or may perform additional, related duties not listed here.

• Greet patients and visitors as they walk in the door. Provide helpful instructions and answers to their questions regarding their visit.
• Sorts incoming mail and distributes accordingly.
• Ensure the lobby is kept neat and professional. Straighten up as needed.
• Check restroom on first floor to ensure it is appropriately supplied and clean. Contact maintenance if there are areas that need attention.
• Assists with UPS/FedEx shipments and ensures parties are notified of deliveries and pickups.
• Assists with answering main telephone number and covering lunches for Registrars as needed.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.

Hours for this position are 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
