What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Technician position at Indiana Powder Coatings?
Indiana Powder Coatings is a privately owned powder coatings manufacturer. We have immediate openings in our Quality Assurance and R&D departments for lab technicians.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals that wish to join our team and become part of a family culture where everyone is valued and respected. Normal working hours for R&D are 7:00 AM-3:30PM Monday-Friday, with some overtime requirements. For Quality Assurance, the position may transition to our third shift after an initial training period of approximately three months on first shift.

· High School Diploma.
· Stable work history. (Two jobs or less in previous 3 years)
· Strong math skills.
· High attention to detail.
· Computer competent with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word.
· Ability to stand / walk for 8-hour shift.
· Willingness and ability make independent decisions.
· Able to work cooperatively in a team environment, with a desire to excel.
We offer a starting salary of $20.50 – $24.00 per hour (depending on experience), 12 vacation days per year, 10 paid holidays and Medical/Dental /Short term disability insurance. Our facility is climate controlled with new, state-of-the-art equipment.
