Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical conditions through detailed evaluations, including mobility, strength, and functional ability assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs across orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, or geriatrics.
- Provide advanced therapeutic interventions, manual therapy, and patient education to facilitate optimal recovery.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans.
- Manage clinical documentation accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems while maintaining compliance with medical standards.
- Conduct discharge planning and monitor progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies to ensure continuous improvement.
- Educate patients and their families on targeted exercises, mobility techniques, and injury prevention strategies.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Indiana (or eligible for licensure).
- Experience or strong clinical interest in outpatient, inpatient, or home health settings.
- Strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and evidence-based physiotherapy practices.
- Commitment to continuous learning and advanced skill development through post-professional education.
- Familiarity with clinical documentation standards and EHR/EMR systems.
- Excellent communication skills with a passion for compassionate, patient-centered care.
Pay: $35.00 - $41.00 per hour
