Production Graphic Artist & Embroidery Technician
Washington, IN (47501)
Full-Time (Part-Time optional)
$18–$25/hr (based on experience)
Position Overview
This role blends graphic design, order setup, and hands-on production, including embroidery work.
This is not just a desk job—you’ll help create designs and bring them to life on real products.
Responsibilities
Graphic Design & Order Setup
- Create and modify artwork for apparel and promotional products
- Prepare print-ready and embroidery-ready files
- Communicate with customers to finalize designs
- Ensure files meet production standards (size, color, format)
Embroidery Production
- Operate embroidery machines (we’ll train the right person)
- Hoop garments and set up jobs
- Monitor runs and troubleshoot minor issues
- Maintain quality control on finished products
General Production
- Organize orders and assist workflow
- Package and prep orders for pickup/shipping
- Keep workspace clean and organized
Qualifications
Required:
- Strong graphic design experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Good communication skills
Preferred (but not required):
- Embroidery or digitizing experience
- Screen printing, vinyl, or sign production experience
- Shopify or e-commerce familiarity
- Print layout / pre-press knowledge
