Requirements for a Physical Therapy Assistant:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program accredited by the Board of Medical Examiners, the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association.
- Display evidence of interest in continuing education within the profession is desired.
- Must hold current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board (AOTCB).
- Strong recommendation of membership to the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and State organizations.
