Duties
- Support sales floor activities by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability.
- Operate inventory control systems using RF scanners and assist with shipping and receiving processes.
- Load and unload shipments using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, following safe lifting practices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and sales areas, including routine cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, provide retail store product knowledge, and support sales transactions at the cashier station.
- Manage inventory levels through regular stock checks, manual handling, and proper packaging of products for display or shipment.
- Collaborate with team members in warehouse operations, merchandising, and stock replenishment to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience or retail store experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts (certification preferred).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and stock control.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Capable of heavy lifting and manual handling while adhering to safe lifting practices.
- Basic math skills for counting inventory, processing transactions, and managing stock levels.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
