Job Overview
The Indiana County Sheriff’s Office is currently accepting applications for (1) available full time Deputy Sheriff position. For an online application, please visit www.indianacountypa.gov.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Providing security and protection for the Courts and County Facilities
- Making arrests for outstanding bench warrants.
- Enforcing the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Crimes and Vehicle Codes.
- Serves summons, subpoenas, protection from abuse orders and other official civil documentation.
- Transports prisoners to local and state facilities.
- Assisting other law enforcement agencies.
- Conducting Eviction and Sheriff sales of real and personal property.

Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts/40 hours a week
- Monday through Friday, scheduled as needed.
- Day Shift, No weekends, No Holidays.
Required License/Certifications:
- Driver's License, Municipal Police (Act 120) or Sheriff's Certification (Act 2).
