Receiving Clerk Team Member, 3rd Shift

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following.

  • Regular predictable attendance and the ability to work overtime and Saturdays
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Receive and unload incoming shipments, parts, and materials.
  • Verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery documentation
  • Inspect incoming materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues promptly
  • Accurately enter receiving data into ERP or inventory management systems
  • Label and tag materials according to company standards and department requirements
  • Coordinate with Purchasing, Quality, and Production teams to resolve discrepancies
  • Stage and transport materials to designated storage or production areas
  • Maintain organized receiving and staging areas to ensure efficiency and safety
  • Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) safely
  • Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock accuracy initiatives
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of receiving records
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies, including PPE requirements

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year of experience in a receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
  • Basic computer skills (data entry, Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to read and interpret packing slips and purchase orders
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred

  • Experience in manufacturing or conveyor system environment
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing/industrial setting

Working Conditions

  • Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures
  • Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
