While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Regular predictable attendance and the ability to work overtime and Saturdays
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, parts, and materials.
- Verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery documentation
- Inspect incoming materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues promptly
- Accurately enter receiving data into ERP or inventory management systems
- Label and tag materials according to company standards and department requirements
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Quality, and Production teams to resolve discrepancies
- Stage and transport materials to designated storage or production areas
- Maintain organized receiving and staging areas to ensure efficiency and safety
- Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) safely
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock accuracy initiatives
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of receiving records
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies, including PPE requirements
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of experience in a receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
- Basic computer skills (data entry, Microsoft Office)
- Ability to read and interpret packing slips and purchase orders
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience in manufacturing or conveyor system environment
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Accuracy and attention to detail

- Problem-solving and discrepancy resolution
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing/industrial setting
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
