Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ medical history, physiology, and anatomy to develop individualized anesthesia plans.
- Administer anesthesia medications and injections with precision, ensuring patient safety throughout procedures.
- Monitor vital signs, oxygen levels, and other critical parameters during surgery or procedures using advanced EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems such as Epic.
- Manage airway control and ventilation support to maintain optimal respiratory function during anesthesia.
- Provide comprehensive patient care by evaluating responses to anesthesia and adjusting protocols as needed.
- Document all medical interventions accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and NCQA standards.
- Assist with pain management strategies post-procedure to ensure patient comfort and recovery.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with current state licensure.
- Critical care experience in settings such as ICU or emergency departments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in airway management, anesthesia techniques, and physiology knowledge.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics and pediatrics.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and patient assessment procedures.
- Proficiency in medical documentation within EMR/EHR systems like Epic; hospital experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security.

- W2 $310,000 or locum $360,000 with 10 weeks vacation or time off (locums)
Pay: $149.00 - $173.00 per hour
