Core Responsibilities
- Assist in leading daily lunch service for 1,500 students and staff.
- Help prepare meals for our Fueling for Excellence athlete nutrition program.
- Support catering events, family dinners, and special events.
- Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and safety.
- Foster a positive kitchen culture through teamwork, leadership, and mentorship.
- Assist with kitchen organization, prep coordination, and recipe scaling.
Education, Experience, Physical Abilities and Skills
- 4–6 years of high-volume kitchen experience.
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Passion for hospitality, teamwork, and serving others.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of Google Docs/Sheets and recipe scaling.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Operational Alignment: Cooperate with Indian Rocks Church and School Administration in implementing all policies, procedures, and directives governing the organization's operation.
- Professional Conduct: Follow Biblical principles in dealing with students and families, staff, congregants, and Administration in a positive Christian manner.
- Attendance: Regular and reliable attendance is required as an essential function of any position.
- Must give testimony and evidence of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and sense the call of God to a serving ministry.
- Demonstrate a consistent Christian lifestyle as referenced by the; the Mission, Statement of Faith, and Leadership Guidelines of Indian Rocks
- Must be an active member of Indian Rocks as defined by regular attendance in worship services, regular attendance/involvement in an Indian Rocks Connection Group or Small Group, commitment to systematic stewardship, and faithful in tithing.
