Job Description
The qualifications and skill requirements for this position include:
- Proven clerical experience and Computer skills including but not limited to: Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Access;
- Proven experience with Web Page Design (HTML, DHTML, JSP, XML, JavaScript) as well as course web registration experience;
- Ability to answer questions relating to registration, course offerings, and training programs for the CCTI, EDI and the Affiliate Incubator;
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) necessary to provide information to the administration, staff, and clients regarding program services and information;
- Positive attitude;
- Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette;
- Ability to work well with students, faculty and co-workers;
- Ability to multi-task and to be well organized and detail oriented;
- Must possess a professional appearance;
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse student populations, administration, faculty, staff, and confidential matters;
- Ability to design and create marketing material to include brochures, flyers, posters, etc.;
- Ability to maintain strict accuracy and be detail oriented; ability to work independently as well as with others and be self-motivated;
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to successfully respond to needs of clients in a timely fashion;
- Must be able to work effectively, efficiently, and highly independently;
- Must uphold high ethical and professional standards;
- Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends including some early morning for special events.
The essential job functions and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Answering questions related to registration, course offerings, and training programs; assisting students with paperwork and questions;
- Answering incoming telephone calls and directing them to appropriate individuals;
- Processing registration forms & completing data entry pertaining to student information;
- Assisting with EDI meetings and events to include the creation and production of marketing materials;
- Innovativeness, professional knowledge, accuracy of work, maintenance of confidentiality, and ability to meet deadlines are critical to this position.
