Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid Psychotherapist role based in Virginia Beach, VA, with the option to work partially from home. The Psychotherapist will provide individual, couples, and family counseling, as well as therapeutic interventions to address various mental health issues. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing therapy sessions, and collaborating with other professionals to ensure client-centered care.
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of Psychology, Counseling, and Mental Health principles and practices
- Experience in Relationship Counseling and other related areas of therapy
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
- Valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Clinical Psychologist in the state of Virginia
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing in-person and remote sessions
- Prior experience in a clinical setting is strongly preferred
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining current certifications
