What are the responsibilities and job description for the Groundskeeper Indian River Golf Club Full or Part Time (Seasonal) position at INDIAN RIVER GOLF CLUB?
The groundskeeper will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent to execute all aspects of day-to-day operations on I.R.G.C property. Typical duties include, but are not limited to: Mowing greens, tees, fairways, rough, and clubhouse grounds, blowing leaves and debris, bunker maintenance, etc. This position requires some light to medium physical activity.
Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, good work ethic, and be punctual for scheduled shifts. Previous experience in landscaping or golf course maintenance is helpful but not required, as training will be provided for all tasks.
Additional Information:
This position is seasonal, typically lasting from mid-April to Late October. Shift Start times change following the weather and sunrise, the earliest start time being in mid summer at 6:00 am. Days and total hours worked are flexible depending on the candidate's wishes. Free golf benefits are provided and typically end of year bonuses.
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
