Dental Assistant (Full-Time)
Full-time | 4 days per week | Every other weekend includes 4 consecutive days off
Indian Peaks Dental – Lafayette, CO
Indian Peaks Dental is a small, privately owned dental practice in Lafayette, Colorado seeking a friendly, organized Dental Assistant to join our team. We are a single-doctor general dentistry practice that values teamwork, efficiency, and providing excellent care to our patients.
This is a full-time position working four days per week, offering a great work-life balance in a supportive and positive office environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and break down treatment rooms for patient care
- Assist the dentist chairside during procedures
- Perform instrument sterilization and maintain infection control protocols
- Maintain dental equipment and assist with routine equipment upkeep
- Manage and order dental supplies
- Develop and maintain an instrument and bur maintenance plan
- Assist with weekly office cleaning and organization
- Help create a welcoming, comfortable experience for patients
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Friendly, professional communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- CPR certification required
- Training available for the right candidate
Preferred Qualifications
- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification, or
- Previous dental assisting experience
Compensation
- $25–$27 per hour for experienced dental assistants
- $20–$24 per hour for candidates without prior experience
