What are the responsibilities and job description for the Halfway House position at Indian Hills Country Club?
Job Summary:
The Halfway House worker operates a small building located on our golf course. This small building acts as a place for membership to get drinks and certain food items while also on the golf course, either through physically ordering at the window, or through an online application. The Halfway House worker is expected to process all of these food and drink orders and to create and deliver them to membership. As well as all of the associated cleaning, inventory, and maintenance tasks associated with the Halfway House.
Key Responsibilities:
- Restocking the liquor, soda, snacks, etc. on a daily basis
- Fulfilling orders by making drinks or preparing food
- Entering orders using our POS system
- Opening and/or closing duties depending on your shift time
- Cleaning your area after each shift
Qualifications:
- Basic wine and cocktail knowledge
- A mature and polished personal presentation
- An ability to engage with members/guests
- The ability to manage their time
- Must be 21 or older
Education:
- High School diploma
Experience:
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred
- Previous bartending experience preferred
Working Conditions:
- Part time
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required
