Job Summary:
Supervise the custodial staff of the college and assist where necessary. Prioritize work assignments, prepare work schedules, assign work and oversee projects. May perform maintenance functions on equipment and facilities.

Minimum Job Requirements
- Custodial training preferred.
- 3 years experience in technical work assignments involving buildings and building equipment.
- Must have experience in supervision of others in performance of duties.
- Must have knowledge of building cleaning, operation of janitorial equipment and general labor work.
- Must be able to lift cartons, furniture and material up to sixty pounds.
Work Performed
- Maintain a supply of materials and supplies needed by the custodial staff.
- Assign work locations and working hours for the custodial staff.
- Responsible for the supervision and work schedules of all personnel assigned to custodial.
- Responsible for all work performed in the custodial area.
- Assist with custodial duties when needed.
- Prepare and submits bids for custodial supplies.
- Substitute for custodians when they are absent.
- Participate in the hiring process for custodians.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
- Perform duties in accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Successfully complete all required OSHA training.
- Perform yearly supply inventory.
- Perform yearly equipment inventory.
- Schedule cleaning of IHCC service centers.
- Perform repairs on custodial equipment such vacuums and floor machines.
- Schedule and set up for all weekly and weekend activities.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
