Measles and Rubella immunization required for selectees born after 1957 and seasonal influenza immunization is required for all staff working in Indian Health Service health care facilities.

The incumbent may work long hours having to stand, stoop, climb and work in tiring and uncomfortable conditions. May be required to lift, carry and move necessary tools, equipment, and parts that weigh 20 pounds or more.
Working Conditions: The incumbent may work indoors or outdoors to complete work assignments. May be required to work in various weather conditions from extreme cold, bad, or severe weather. Work areas may be noisy, dirty, greasy; could be on scaffolding or cranes and variousheights and in cramped areas. The incumbent could be exposed to the possibility of injuries, from falling, electrical shock, and burns. Hours of work may be long and requires high concentration. Safety equipment and protection is recommended.

- Installs, modifies, repairs, and troubleshoots, loads and tests new and existing electrical systems.
- Installs wiring, conduit, fixtures, transformers, and other electrical devices in the size and type, and arrangement needed for proper and safe operation of electrical systems, circuits, and equipment.
- Plans and lays out the routing, placement, type, size gauge, balance, load, continuity and proper and sage operation of electrical lines, circuits, fittings, connections and controls.
- Performs or assists in routine, urgent and emergency repairs and projects undertaken by the station or contract work, incumbent is subject to be called back to the clinic after normal duty hours in case of emergencies related to building, utilities, or equipment at the Service Unit as well as all other duties assigned.
