The Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for creating and managing written content that aligns with the organization’s strategic goals and communication needs. This role involves producing engaging copies for social media, newsletters, blogs, press releases, and promotional materials, while ensuring a consistent brand voice. The Marketing Communications Specialist will collaborate closely with the Marketing and Communications Manager to execute targeted campaigns, support organizational events, and ensure content meets the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Write and edit content for social media, blogs, newsletters, and press releases.
Develop creative copy for marketing campaigns and promotional materials.
Produce and distribute press releases for key organizational updates, including events and milestones.
Collaborate with the Content Marketing Specialist to align visual and written content.
Ensure all content produced by other departments to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
Monitor and report on content performance, adjusting strategies as needed to improve engagement and reach.
Produce graphic and video communication content across digital channels.
Work with the Marketing and Communications Manager to maintain a content calendar and ensure timely publication.
Other duties as assigned.
