What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gift Shop Associate position at Indian Head Resort?
We're looking for a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented person to join our team as a Gift Shop Associate. Full and part-time positions available.
What You'll Do
- Operate the cash register using Toast POS to process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Greet and assist customers, answering questions and creating a welcoming shopping experience
- Tag and price new merchandise as it arrives
- Restock shelves and displays, keeping inventory well-organized and fully stocked
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and visually appealing store environment — including regular vacuuming and general upkeep
- Assist with incoming orders, including receiving, sorting, and organizing shipments
What We're Looking For
- A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine enjoyment of working with people
- Dependable and punctual, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to stay on your feet and handle light physical tasks (lifting, bending, restocking)
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a small team
- Prior experience with Toast POS or retail work is a plus, but not required
